Anatoliy Yakovlevich Ponomarenko (January 12, 1945 – August 22, 2020) was a Soviet and Russian opera singer (baritone) and director. He became a soloist at the Samara Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet in 1971 and was designated a People's Artist of the RSFSR in 1986. Ponomarenko graduated from Kyiv Conservatory in 1970, studying under I.N. Vilinskaya. He was married to Svetlana Viktorovna Ponomarenko and had two children, Evgenia and Elena, along with grandchildren Maria, Nikolai, and Leonid.
