Anatoly Nikolaevich Biryukov, known as The Baby Hunter, was a notorious Soviet serial killer active in the Moscow area during September and October of 1977. He was responsible for the gruesome murders of five infants, which garnered widespread media attention and public outrage. Biryukov was ultimately convicted and became infamous for his heinous crimes, leaving a tragic mark on the history of criminal acts in the Soviet Union. His life ended early as he died on 24 February 1979, just a few years after his crime spree.
