Anđa Ranković, born Anđelija Jovanović on April 26, 1909, in Izbište, was a Yugoslav partisan and a participant in the People's Liberation War. She is recognized as a People's Hero of Yugoslavia. Ranković was known for her dedication to the resistance movement during World War II. Unfortunately, her life was cut short when she died on June 11, 1942, on Mount Gat near Gacko.
