Anders Bodelsen is a Danish novelist and writer born on February 11, 1937, in Frederiksberg. He is the son of Carl Adolf Bodelsen and Merita Bodelsen, and graduated from Ordrup High School in 1956. Bodelsen studied law, economics, and literature at the University of Copenhagen, while working as a freelance journalist. He served as the editor of the magazine 'Perspektiv' from 1963 to 1965 and later worked for the newspaper 'Information' from 1964 to 1967, and also for 'Politiken'. He married Eva Sindahl-Pedersen in 1975.
