Anders Kvåle Rue is a Norwegian illustrator, comic book creator, and author born in 1965. He has created several comic series inspired by the Viking Age and has illustrated numerous books. Rue began drawing as a child and debuted in print in 1982. He has received the Smørbukkstipendiet award and graduated from the Statens håndverks- og kunstindustriskole in 1991. His notable works include the humor series Sjøormen Sjur and the culturally rich book Skjeggets historie, showcasing his detailed illustrations of Norwegian Viking history.
