András Both is a Romanian-Hungarian scenic designer and costume designer born on February 21, 1951, in Târgu Mureș. He completed his studies in scenic design in 1976 in Bucharest and worked in various theaters across Romania. In 1983, he emigrated and has since worked in London, Stuttgart, and the United States. He was invited to lead the scenic design faculty at the California Institute of the Arts. His notable works include designs for Gogol's 'Revizoro' and Shakespeare's 'Julius Caesar'.
