André Harvey is a former Canadian politician born on April 29, 1939, in Jonquière, Quebec. He was a member of the Quebec Liberal Party and served in the National Assembly of Quebec from 1970 to 1976. Before entering politics, he worked as an announcer and sportswriter. He was first elected in 1970 for the Chauveau district and re-elected in 1973 for the Charlesbourg district but lost in 1976. His brother Gérald Harvey also served in the legislature. Harvey attempted to return to politics in 1981 but was not reelected.
