Andre Fitzgerald Jones was an American football linebacker, born on May 15, 1969, who played for the Detroit Lions in the NFL during the 1992 season. He played college football at Notre Dame and was selected in the seventh round of the 1991 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tragically, he passed away on June 22, 2011, due to a brain aneurysm. His short professional career and sudden death left a mark on those who knew him.
