André Luisier (June 20, 1924 – February 19, 1998) was a Swiss journalist born in Sitten. Raised in a Catholic family, he was married three times. He studied law at the University of Geneva and served as editor-in-chief of Nouvelliste valaisan from 1949 to 1994. A member of the Swiss Press Agency's board from 1982 to 1989, he founded Rhône Média SA and established the Centre d’impression des Ronquoz in 1984. He was politically active as a conservative and also presided over FC Sion from 1981 to 1992.
