André Marcadier was a French automotive constructor born on March 17, 1925, in Lyon, where he passed away on April 7, 2013. Beginning in the early 1960s and continuing until the late 1990s, he partnered with Marcel Fournier in 1963 to produce the Fournier-Marcadier brand, which created France's first kit sports car, the FM 01. In 1970, Marcadier went on to independently produce a total of sixteen models, making an estimated 600 kits during his tenure with the brand.
