André Simoncini is a Luxembourgish hotelier, gallery owner, and author born on February 21, 1946, in Esch-Uelzecht. He studied translation and interpretation at the University of Tours/Orléans. From 1973 to 1979, he worked at NAMSA in Capellen. In 1976, he took over the Hotel-Restaurant Français and opened the Galerie Simoncini in 1981. He founded Éditions Simoncini in 1985, a publishing house specializing in poetry and art. In 2006, he acquired and renovated the former Hotel Schintgen, which now houses both the hotel and a gallery showcasing various artworks.
