Andrés Esono Ondó is an Equatoguinean politician and academic, born on February 4, 1961, in Añisok. He is the current Secretary General of the Convergence for Social Democracy (CPDS). He holds degrees in Sociology and Political Science from UCM and UNED. Esono has worked as a teacher and consultant for various organizations, including the World Bank and United Nations agencies. In 2013, he was elected councilor in Malabo and became Secretary General of CPDS, succeeding Plácido Micó Abogo.
