Andreu Codina i Candelas is a retired Catalan trial bike rider born on May 10, 1964, in Sant Feliu de Codines. He initially competed on bicycles and later switched to motorcycles. In the late 1970s, he pioneered a new sport called Trialsín, now known as biketrial, becoming an international star and innovating the sport. He was the first to perform impressive feats, such as riding a bicycle up cars. Codina later influenced motorcycle trials riding, changing the sport to make it more challenging and exciting, laying the groundwork for future riders like Jordi Tarrés.
