Andrey Ampar, born Adgur Tarielovich Ampar on March 26, 1971, in Gudauta, is an Abkhazian artist and former chairman of the Artists' Union of the Republic of Abkhazia from 2017 to 2018. Previously, he served as a clergyman in the Maikop-Adygean Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church and held the title of hieromonk before leaving the priesthood. He was the abbot of the Monastery of Saint Simon the Zealot from 2011 to 2013.
