Andrey Ivanovich Tihonovsky was a Soviet military engineer and propagandist, born on December 9, 1905, in Kuban. He served in the Red Army and achieved the rank of military engineer. Captured by German forces during World War II, he worked on plans for breaking Soviet fortifications while in captivity. After the war, he joined the Main Administration of Cossack Troops before surrendering to British forces in May 1945. His post-war fate remains unknown after being handed over to the Soviets.
