Andrey Shevchuk is a retired Russian javelin thrower, born on March 8, 1970. He competed for the Soviet Union in 1989 and secured third place at the European Athletics Junior Championships. Representing the Unified Team at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, he finished eighth. Shevchuk achieved his personal best throw of 85.70 meters on June 1, 1993, in Bratislava. In 1994, he won gold at the Goodwill Games while competing for Russia, although he did not advance past qualification at the European Championships in Helsinki.
