Andrzej Kunowski, known as The Beast of Mława, was a Polish serial rapist and murderer born on March 29, 1956, and died on September 23, 2009. He was a notorious sex offender in Poland and later moved to England, where he committed the murder of 12-year-old Katerina Koneva in 1997. Kunowski was sentenced to a whole life order and was incarcerated at HM Prison Frankland until his death. He is also the prime suspect in the disappearances of three girls occurring between 1992 and 2000.
