Andrew J. Jick (1952–2019) was a prominent public address announcer for the Boston Celtics and the Boston College Eagles. He served as the PA announcer for the Celtics from 1980 to 1997, participating in five NBA Finals. In 2001, he began announcing games for the Boston College Eagles. Jick worked for nine years as a statistician and Wives' Room host before becoming the PA announcer. He passed away at the age of 66 on May 3, 2019.
