Andy Leggett (born March 31, 1942) is a British jazz musician known for his work as a clarinetist, saxophonist, singer, guitarist, songwriter, and arranger within the English Oldtime Jazz scene. He graduated from Hull University in 1964 and has played in various traditional jazz bands since the 1960s. Leggett founded the band Sweet Substitute in 1975, contributing as musical director and composer. He toured with several prominent jazz ensembles and participated in 18 recording sessions from 1974 to 2006, drawing stylistic influence from jazz great Sidney Bechet.
