He began his career in 1984 with an improvisational comedy troupe at Walt Disney World before shifting to music. By the mid-1990s, he started performing for children and integrated storytelling into his shows. Since pursuing storytelling full-time in 2004, he has gained national recognition and regularly appears at storytelling festivals. He has released 13 albums and earned various awards, including the prestigious Circle of Excellence Award in 2013.
