Howard Andrew Spiva was an American football player born on February 6, 1955. He played as a professional for the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL and participated in 13 games during the 1977 season. Tragically, Spiva's life was cut short when he was killed in a car accident on April 3, 1979. His teammate, Garth TenNapel, was involved in the accident and sustained serious injuries.
