Anette Fischer (née Klavsen) was a Danish librarian and human rights activist. She led the Danish branch of Amnesty International and in 1989 became a member of the International Executive Committee, eventually serving as its head starting in 1991. Her life ended tragically in a car accident in Florence, Italy, in July 1992, where she died alongside her husband. Fischer dedicated her career to advocating for human rights and made significant contributions during her tenure with the organization.
