She served as Director General of Planning for Mexico City in the late 1940s and 1950s and later held the position of President of Planning and Director of the Urban Development Plan. She made significant contributions to urban planning, including overseeing the development of the Macroplaza in Monterrey, which is one of the largest plazas globally. Alessio Robles passed away on April 27, 2004.
