Angie Craig is an American politician, former journalist, and businesswoman born on February 14, 1972. She is a member of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party and has served as a U.S. Representative for Minnesota's 2nd congressional district since 2019. Her district encompasses most of the southern suburbs of the Twin Cities and some rural areas. Craig is notable for being the first openly LGBTQ+ member of Congress from Minnesota and the first openly gay mother to serve in Congress.
