Anita Barker Andersen, born on September 23, 1945, in Kristianstad, is a Swedish musician, author, and evangelist. She grew up in a devout family and, despite facing near-blindness at 15, became an EFS evangelist. As a pioneer of electric instrumentation in churches, she co-founded the EKO-team music group. Andersen worked with orphans in London and later in the USA with Teen Challenge. She has published several books, including her autobiography 'Fångad av hopp' in 2009. She has been married twice, first to psychologist Edgar Barker and currently to Erik Andersen.
