Anita Costa Prado is a Brazilian poet and comic book artist born in São Paulo on July 11, 1974. In 1995, she created the comic character Katita, illustrated by several artists. Katita, who is openly lesbian, was featured in the book 'Katita - Tiras sem preconceito' published in 2006. Anita also collaborated with Márcio Baraldi on the 2007 album 'Roko-Loko: Born to be Wild!'. The character Katita has been included in educational materials by the São Paulo City Hall's Diversity Sexual Affairs Coordination in 2008.
