Anker Lyder Folkestad (1914-1989) was a Norwegian civil servant born in Ullern. He was the son of station manager Ole Folkestad and Marianne Evensen. After completing his education, he worked as a secretary and consultant in the Ministry of Finance and later held significant roles in the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation and the Ministry of Defence. Folkestad was also involved in public planning commissions, contributing to various initiatives. He married Ragnhild Charlotte Ajaxson in 1942 and resided in Bærum. He passed away in 1989.
