Ann Cody, born on May 14, 1963, is a prominent U.S. Paralympian with significant contributions in sports and advocacy for disability rights. She made her Paralympic debut in 1984 and excelled in athletics, winning four silver medals in 1988, as well as competing in the 1988 Olympics. At the 1992 Paralympics, she set a world record in the 4 × 100 m relay, earning gold and bronze medals. Cody is also an accomplished marathon runner and was the first female Paralympian on the International Paralympic Committee board, receiving the Paralympic Order in 2017.
