Anna Tager (31 August 1912 – 7 November 1999) was a Soviet Jewish chemist specializing in physical chemistry of polymers. She held a Doctor of Chemical Sciences degree (1957) and became a professor in 1959. Tager founded the scientific school known as the 'Ural School of Physics and Chemistry of Polymers' and authored a renowned textbook titled 'Physics and Chemistry of Polymers,' which has gone through four editions (1963, 1968, 2007). Her contributions significantly advanced the field of polymer chemistry.
