Annabelle Mary Cripps, born on February 16, 1968, is a former British swimmer and Olympian who competed in the 1984 and 1988 Summer Olympics, securing a sixth place in the 4×100-metre freestyle relay in 1984. She won two silver medals at the 1986 Commonwealth Games and was a 14-time All-American at the University of Texas at Austin. In 2006, she changed her name to Katherine Starr and founded Safe4Athletes in 2012, addressing sexual abuse in sports. She authored 'Rescue Me: A Powerful Memoir By An Olympian' in 2022 and serves as an expert witness in athlete sexual abuse cases.
