Anne Marie Vessel Schlüter is a ballet dancer and the head of the Royal Danish Theatre's ballet school. Trained at the same institution, she performed various roles at the theatre before transitioning to teaching. Later, she became the director of the ballet school, specializing in August Bournonville's style, and she also acts as an instructor at the Royal Ballet. Schlüter has a child with ballet dancer Alexander Kølpin and married former Prime Minister Poul Schlüter on July 21, 1989. She holds the title of Knight of Dannebrog of the 1st degree.
