Anneke Groen, born on November 17, 1946, in Alkmaar, is a Dutch journalist from a Catholic family. She attended Petrus Canisius College from 1958 to 1963 and co-founded the Alkmaar branch of Man Vrouw Maatschappij with Marga Bruyn-Hundt. Groen has written for various publications, including Noordhollands Dagblad, Margriet, and Opzij, and currently works for De Groene Amsterdammer. She is also a programmer, author, and coach, serving as a moderator. From 1998 to 2009, she was the director of Rode Hoed, receiving the Silver Medal of the City of Amsterdam in 2009.
