Annie Krokfors was a Finnish painter born on February 26, 1901, in Kruununkylä. She graduated from Taideteollinen keskuskoulu in 1927 and furthered her studies at Akademien för de fria konsten in Stockholm from 1934 to 1936, and at Vapaa taidekoulu in 1941-1942. Krokfors was deeply religious, which influenced her work as she painted religious themes. Her legacy included a bequest that funded renovations for the Jordanhemmet prayer house, with the inheritance composed of her paintings. She was also the sister of author Hjalmar Krokfors.
