Anthony N. Rodd, also known as Tony Rodd, is an Australian garden botanist and plant photographer born on August 24, 1940. His primary focus is on the classification and nomenclature of ornamental plants. He spent many years working at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney. Notably, in 2000, he discovered a previously undetected species of the genus Leionema. Rodd has co-authored books on palms and rainforest gardens, contributed to encyclopedias, and served as a chief consultant for a botanical lexicon. He also created a vast archive of plant slides.
