Anthony Scardino Jr. is an American politician born on August 24, 1936, in Hoboken, New Jersey. He was a member of the Democratic Party and served in the New Jersey Senate from 1974 to 1980, representing the 36th district. Previously, he was Mayor of Lyndhurst and a member of the Lyndhurst Board of Education. After his Senate term, he became the executive director of the Hackensack Meadowlands Development Commission for 18 years and later served as a commissioner for the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority.
