Anton (Ante) Afrić was a Croatian electrical engineer, scientist, and politician known for his expertise in the theory of transmission and multiplex systems, particularly in digital systems. He served as a professor, vice-dean, and dean at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Split, as well as rector of the University of Split and a member of parliament. He authored the textbook 'Theory of Transmission Systems' in 1972 and received the Nikola Tesla Award in 1976 for his significant research contributions.
