Antoni Inglès i Prats (July 15, 1946 – December 5, 2009) was a sociologist known for his expertise in child maltreatment and at-risk youth. He worked at the Generalitat de Catalunya in the 1980s and was a key figure at the DGAIA. He directed the first child maltreatment research in Catalonia in 1991 and presented on child violence before the Catalan Parliament in 1997. He served on the board of the Catalan Association for Maltreated Children and was instrumental in launching several periodicals. He passed away young from a degenerative disease, leaving behind a literary work published posthumously.
