Antonio Almonte is a Dominican nuclear engineer and a founding member of the executive leadership of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM). He served as the Minister of Energy and Mines of the Dominican Republic from August 16, 2020, to August 16, 2024, under President Luis Abinader. Currently, he holds the position of Consul General of the Dominican Republic in Boston and serves as an energy advisor to President Abinader.
