Antônio Carlos da Silva Muricy was a Brazilian military general born on June 8, 1906, in Curitiba. He commanded the Tiradentes Detachment during the 1964 coup d'état. He reached the rank of army general and his last command was as head of the Army General Staff, a position he took on April 11, 1969. He left the Army on November 25, 1970.
