Antonio Galbis Domènech was a Valencian chef known for setting the world record for cooking massive paellas on two occasions, serving over 100,000 people. He opened his restaurant, Casa Galbis, in L'Alcúdia in 1966 and gained fame for his giant paellas beginning in 1980. His first giant paella served around 1,000 people in Guadassuar. In 1992, he cooked for 100,000 in Valencia, surpassing this record in 2001 with a paella for 110,000. On March 4, 2017, he was named adoptive son of L'Alcúdia.
