Dr. H. Anwar Abbas is an Indonesian scholar, lecturer, and expert in Islamic economics. He currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) for the period 2020–2025. Previously, he held the position of Secretary General of MUI from 2015 to 2020 and was also a central board chairman of Muhammadiyah during the same period.
