Aoi Nishimata (born June 4, 1977) is a renowned Japanese visual novel character designer and illustrator affiliated with Navel. She gained prominence through her collaboration with Hiro Suzuhira since their high school days, starting with their work 'Ritual' in 1996. Nishimata has illustrated several notable visual novels, including 'Shuffle!', 'Really? Really!', and 'We Without Wings'. In 2016, she announced her marriage to voice actor Junichi Miyake and published a book detailing their wedding experience.
