Aquiles Fabregat, known as Fabre, was a Uruguayan journalist, humorist, and graphic scriptwriter born in Montevideo on February 15, 1938. He was a key figure in the magazine Hum®, serving as its editor until 1994. Fabregat co-directed the magazine Sex Humor and founded La Murga in 1998. He also contributed to several other publications and was recognized for his expertise in crossword puzzles. Additionally, he was active in radio, collaborating in various programs. He passed away in Buenos Aires on November 10, 2010, due to lung cancer.
