Despite the challenges of her exile, she pursued a modeling career in Paris. Her life was marked by tumultuous relationships and struggles with drug abuse. Tragically, she took her own life in Colombia on October 5, 1965, in front of her lover, Mexican bullfighter Jaime Bravo.
