Aram Ghanalanyan (February 12, 1909 – June 9, 1983) was an Armenian linguist, literary scholar, and folklorist. He earned his doctorate in philology in 1970 and became a corresponding member of the Armenian Academy of Sciences in 1965, later becoming an academician in 1977. Ghanalanyan was recognized as a distinguished figure in science by the Armenian SSR in 1967. He was the brother of Hovhannes Ghanalanyan and made significant contributions to Armenian studies and literature.
