Aram Grigori Katanyan (March 10, 1926 – 1998) was an Armenian Soviet conductor. He was born in Yerevan, Armenian SSR, USSR. Katanyan was recognized as a People's Artist of the Armenian SSR in 1976. He is also noted for being the father of Konstantin Katanyan. His contributions to music and culture were significant during his life.
