Aram Sargsyan is an Armenian politician who served as Prime Minister of Armenia from November 3, 1999, to May 2, 2000, representing the Republican Party. He succeeded his brother, Vasken Sargsyan, after his assassination. Sargsyan founded the opposition Republic Party in 2000 and was elected to the National Assembly multiple times. He held various roles in engineering and management before entering politics. His political career included involvement in parliament through different parties and coalition alliances, particularly in the aftermath of the 2018 Velvet Revolution.
