Ararat Malkhasyan, born on March 29, 1948, in Armavir, is an Armenian chemist and politician. He earned a Doctorate in Chemical Sciences in 1983 and became a Professor in 1985. Malkhasyan has been an Academician at the Academy of Engineering of Armenia since 1999. He served as a Member of the National Assembly of Armenia during its third convocation from 2003 to 2007.
