Archie John Kodros was an American football player and coach born on January 20, 1918. He played for the University of Michigan football team from 1937 to 1939, where he was a team captain and selected as a first-team All-American in his senior year. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Forces. After the war, he transitioned to coaching, working at Whitman College from 1948 to 1950, the University of Hawaii in 1951, and the University of Iowa from 1952 to 1965.
