Arie Vergunst (1926-1981) was a Dutch minister in the Reformed Congregations. At 24, he was ordained as a minister in Zeist. He served various congregations including those in Corsica (South Dakota), Rotterdam, Veen, and Kalamazoo. Vergunst was preses of the general synod and a lecturer at the Theological School in Rotterdam. He received his doctorate in theology in 1970, writing a thesis on Godefridus Cornelisz. Udemans. His collected publications were published as 'Neem de wacht des Heeren waar' along with a biography by his brother.
